When Olivia first joined the Choir School of Hartford, she didn’t do it by choice. “It’s kind of one of those things your parents told you to do,” she admits. But over the years, she went from an average chorister to head chorister, and it completely reshaped her understanding of leadership.
“Being in choir school, I was able to see my leadership skills expand and grow.”
Olivia, Former Chorister
One of her most impactful memories? Traveling with the Choir School to London, where she sang at the world-renowned Ely Cathedral and Westminster Abbey.
Her story is one of transformation, proof that the Choir School of Hartford doesn’t just teach children how to sing, it gives them a global stage and the tools to succeed.
“I was in eighth grade… and now at NYU, I was able to study in London for six months. Going back was a visual representation of how much I’ve grown within and beyond the church.”
